Your words struck a chord, Danielle. Before moving to Spain, I got rid of all of my physical belongings. Since then, Iβve become far more intentional about what I bring into my space, both in my home and the studio.
You have me thinking about how those chosen pieces stop being "objects" and start working together as an ecosystem that grounds me each day. The idea of a collection being a "wind made of many breezes" is absolutely beautiful. A reminder that what we choose to keep around us doesn't just fill space but it anchors us while keeping the windows open.
Really insightful and thoughtful, Danielle. Thank you.
Thank you, Alex and thank you for sharing this. We live in an age that is very fast paced and it is so easy to feel disconnected. Even the smallest items that belong to us can connect us, inspire beauty or align us to deep places. With arrangement and In the right light, everythinng in the world is magic. πβ¨
Such a lovely ideaβwind made of many breezes. It also makes me think of ocean waves in the same way. Not so different from each person existing and moving in time around us. πͺ·ππ»π
i felt so light and touched by the gentle invisible breeze, moving through my mind and dancing along my own imagination while reading this piece, D πβ¨β¨β¨π€
As artists, we create our own worlds. I travelled the world with two bags, and there were little things I kept. Now there are four bags and a few more treasures. Theyβre all sprinkle, sprinkle moments.
I loved the comments too, especially Alexβs. β¨
